Well went for the welcome talk yesterday. The talks were so boring that I practically either dozed off or looking around aimlessly all the time. So literally for the whole day, I shut off. Probably the only highlight was the goodie bag haha......
How time flies; JC, army and now Uni. Am really anticipating the start of it and yet at the same time afraid of the new things that I am going to embark on. Constantly thinking of many what ifs; can't cope with studies, unable to click with new people and so on...... I know it sounds oxymoron but thats how I'm feeling now; CONFUSED. Really hope that I can clear off all these negative thoughts and be more positive. Enough of all this.
Here are the set of things that I hoped that I will be able to achieve throughout my NTU life:
1) Not to be a nerd(well I admit I was)
2) Be more extroverted(I'm still trying to open up myself)
3) Joining MJ(right now no other CCAs seems more fun than this)
4) Make new friends(so that I have no lack of company in between lessons)
While the list carry on juz that I can't think of any at the moment alr but in short I wanna my uni life to be filled with fun and colours and till then
May the Force be with you........

Well, juz gotten back on Friday from CAC camp and wahhhhhh, it was really fun. Gotta know lotsa people out there which I probably never will never if not for it; none of them that I met with are going to study aerospace engineering, except for one(OMG, is it really such a so god-forsaken course? All of them can't u juz come out now). Although I didn't really get to sleep much, I enjoyed it alot.
Didn't really do much things on the 1st day, juz met up with my OG grp(Ayden) at Boon Lay MRT and then we are gone to NTU, playing ice breaking games and after dinner went ard school playing games(NTU is freaking big la, dun noe how am I gonna get my way ard there when school starts). Frankly speaking, being the quiet type of guy that I always was, the 1st few days was a bit sian for me(didn't really attempt to interact with them) Although that was how its was, but as days goes by, I gotta know them better. So basically the 1st few days was spent on getting ard the school through games(though seriously I doubt after all this, I knew my way ard NTU any better).
Still remember there was a fright night on the 2nd day. Although it turned out more to be a funny experience then a scary one, kudos to the efforts put in by the programmers who have to do it consecutively for 5 hrs.(probably because I was only concerned with sleeping that I wasn't really thinking of anything else).
Then after that came the amazing race on the 3rd day whereby we came out of school with the ending point being the Ferris Wheel at Marina Square with so called roadblocks along the way. Come to think of it, it was more like a sightseeing trip for us instead of a race; we were literally strolling from point to point and turning into cam whores, taking pics everywhere we go.(well the photos are still not with me yet, will upload them once I received it. After that we spent the night at Sentosa and the next day was beach games although the unpredictable weather threatened to call it off. And of course our Mr AA got to show off what he's made up of......
The highlight of the next 2 days was the meeting up with our SP(Secret Pal); someone that was chosen randomly, so u have no idea who she was. That's what happened during the 4th night where we were both blindfolded and having to pass through stations along the way. Didn't really keep track of how long we talked(still blindfolded) coz there were delays at the stations but I guess it shd be more than few hrs(Wa didn't realise that I can actually sustain a conversation for so long). Of course in the end, we were literally shivering and filled with souvenirs from the game masters which is actually a cocktail of ice cream, mustard, egg, flour and some other things which I think its best not for me to know. The next day was to go ard rooms to identify who is our SP(ya on the way the guys were made to do stupid things b4 we got to know who our SPs are). After that we had dinner at Pariss b4 heading down to DXO.

Here's a photo that I took with my SP(coincidentally, she's my xue mei too)
Finally the last day came and although I was really shagged from the activities, it was really quite a pity that the day came so fast. Guess will really miss Ayden and hope that we can still keep in touch.(will upload our cam whoring photos once I received them)
School's starting soon, hope that I can survive the rigours of it and enjoy myself as much as I was in Ayden and till then;
May the Force be with you

How time really flies; in the blinking of an eye, school is starting soon for me again. Still can clearly remember the days during NS when I was literally counting down to D day(ORD of course) followed by the nearly 8 mths of working stint(minus the 1 mth which I stoned at home) which ended off last friday at SIM. Anyway I basically did nothing again that day(or should I say the whole week haha)and it was spend on reading manga and tying up some loose ends at work and of course, I became 'heavy' again from the souvenirs which I took it upon myself to 'take'. On the whole, I feel that I have learned a lot throughout this period(probably because this was the 1st time I actually worked although I dun really see any my bank balance seems stagnated). Sure, there were some uneventful experiences that are best forgotten, but its through it that I have become wiser; the world is not what it seems to be(guess I was too naive). These are things which I can never know from reading any amount of books. To summarise everything, I still prefer my Citibank job out of the 3 I had(really gotta make a point to aside time to meet up with them again). Guess I will never forget abt these lessons of life that I had throughout this period.
Speaking of which, I'm now in the midst of packing up my stuff for the camp later so I'm kindda in a rush right now. Will update next time and till then,
May the Force be with You

Well just went to watch this year's NDP preview yesterday night with Gk. Thanks to Chen long who managed to get 2 tickets for us. Frankly speaking, I wasn't really excited by the thought of going there even though it has been abt 10 yrs since I actually when directly to the stadium to watch the parade, albeit it being a preview show also the last time. That was the time when every pri 5 student were required to attend the preview show as part of national education(what I would call as the nation's effort to inculcate the 'correct' set of thinking to us). Guess u can say that I am not really a patriotic person after all. Dun get me wrong, I still love my country for how it has made me for what I am today, but its just that I prefer to watch every year's parade from the comfort of my home instead of having to squeeze with everybody to watch the same thing, minus the atmosphere of course. Anyway when I reach there I was really appalled by how much the stadium(the floating platform) have changed since the last time I was there; from just the flat platform it was previously, to the at least decent looking performing stage that it able to accommodate 27,000 people. Speaking of the show, its just .... and more .... On the whole, I really have no inclination what the various performance was about. Not to say the performers did not perform badly, they really work hard for it and its quite a feat considering they have to coordinate the shows consisting of 2,000 over performers, although there are still some glitches here and there. But the thing is that the whole was probably too artistic for me to understand(maybe I'm too LC haha....) and in the end I was just anticipating the fireworks was coming up next). But anyway the only thing to look forward to should be the performance by the RSAF black knights plus of course the fireworks, other than that, well u know what.
On the whole, its quite an experience for me to see the nation coming together by transforming the stadium into a sea of red.
Till then,
May the force be with you......

Recently came across some songs which I find it to be quite nice and want to share it with all of u.
The 1st song 永不消失的彩虹, sung by genie zhuo is actually the soundtrack from the new Taiwanese idol drama 翻滾吧!蛋炒飯(Rolling Love) that is currently still airing in Taiwan now(Of course I'm watching it now). Fell in love with the song after listening for the 1st time which contains a little tinge of sadness. It is only recently then they released the OST for it. Too bad 恆星, another song from the drama sung by Fahrenheit(I think its actually one of the better songs by them) was not in it. But anyway juz enjoy this song.
The 2nd song that I'm gonna introduced is actually one which I discovered it a few days back. It's called 走火入魔 by 阿信(from Mayday) & 丁噹. Like the lyrics of this song(btw 阿信 was the one who composed it and gosh he's so gd) which is actually talking abt a girl who is so infatuated with this guy that she is going to 走火入魔 but doesn't dare to bare it out. Of course the MV is also nicely filmed. Enjoy
And till then,
